Jubilee wishes

These past four days have been a celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. For 60 years the Queen has reigned Great Britain and across the United Kingdom we have honoured her duty and service with Jubilee parties and with the waving of flags. For me, watching the celebrations and the wonderful Jubilee concert made me not only proud of my British heritage but it also filled me with emotion. I believe that although it was a celebration of the Queen's work it sent a message to the whole of the United Kingdom of the importance of community, friends and family. We all came together to celebrate the Queen but in doing so we all came together to celebrate each other; we were truly united.

Occasions like this remind me of the good in humanity and also the wishes we all make. We wish for many things but the most precious things we could possibly wish for are sometimes right in front of us. I love my family and my friends and people who love and my wish is to be reminded everyday of the good in life. I wish that I do not take the wishes that have already come true for granted. What is your wish?
