Quiet?

 

I came across this quote on the internet and I thought how true it was. 

If the majority of people around me were to describe me it would be 'the quiet one'.  

I am generally quiet, I hate being centre of attention and I prefer to be the listener in almost every situation. 

However, my mind is most certainly not quiet; It is very loud. I am always full of thought and my mind is constantly active (apart from when I'm sleeping). Therefore, this quote has hit the nail on its head, I, the quiet person, occupy a loud mind and only a few privileged get some insight into it.

I decided to make this as I remember as a child the moment when you would pick a dandelion seed head and blow the seeds away and make a wish.

Wishes are important to children whether they are birthday wishes as you blow out a candle or the wishes from these dandelion seeds. Wishes are important as they are reflection on the things you want from life, the things you hope for and the beauty that can come from life.

Wishes are important not just for children but for all of us as we need not give up on those childhood wishes. We grow and we change and we develop but we are still full of wishes so make a wish on a star, on a candle or on dandelion seeds today!
